About Me

Hi! I'm Maddie Rainer (she/her).

I was born and raised on Long Island, NY and grew up immersed in all aspects of the arts. I furthered my growth by going to Florida State University, where I graduated in Spring of 2025 with a B.A. in Theatre (Summa Cum Laude) with an emphasis in Performance.

I pride myself on being a multi-hyphenate in Theater, not only focusing on performing, but also venturing into playwriting, directing, education, as well as theater related marketing and photography! When I'm not doing any of that, I absolutely love reading and crafting. You can always find me reading a new book/play or making my own jewelry!

The Tempest with Southern Shakespeare Company

I have been cast in the Southern Shakespeare Company's annual Shakespeare in the Park Festival! I will be playing Iris/The Magic in their production of The Tempest. Additionally, I will be serving as the production's choreographer. I am super excited!

The Tempest will run February 19th-22nd at the Adderley Ampitheater in Cascades Park.

Black Sheep Productions Group

I have just opened my own production group, Black Sheep Productions Group, based in Tallahassee Florida. This endeavor will aim to put up challenging and unconventional works, that challenge traditional theatrical experiences.

Our first show will be The Grown-Ups by Simon Henriques and Skylar Fox, April 24th-26th at The Req Room. I can't wait to get started.
